About

Scott Anderson is a fine artist based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, known for his vibrant, textural paintings and a background that bridges fine art and digital media. His work has been exhibited in galleries nationwide and collected internationally. Before transitioning full-time to fine art, Scott spent 15 years in the video game industry, creating concept art and 3D environments for titles like Tomb Raider: Underworld and Whiplash, where he served as art director at Crystal Dynamics.

Scott’s artistic roots run deep—encouraged by his mother, a San Francisco Art Academy alumna, he began drawing at age four. He studied fine art, illustration, and graphic design at Chico State and Art Center College of Design, where he was honored each semester with juried exhibitions of his work. In between, he lived in Florence, Italy, immersing himself in the museums, galleries, and Bohemian art circles of Europe and the Middle East.

Over the years, Scott has continued to evolve his creative voice through painting, integrating influences from classical art to contemporary digital techniques. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to craft, storytelling, and visual exploration.
